Lighting up the night
It’s my last night in Seoul, last night in South Korea, and last night of this Asia journey. So they’re giving me a big send-off, with colored lights, music, and dancing fountains! π
The Rainbow Bridge in Seoul (aka Moonlight Rainbow Fountain, aka Banpo Bridge) is the longest bridge fountain in the world. I didn’t even realize that was a thing, but I guess there’s a world record for just about everything these days! π€·ββοΈ
From spring to fall, the bridge puts on several shows a night, with synchronized music, lights, and waving jets of water. It’s a popular place, and on a pleasant evening like this, lots of people hang out by the river’s edge to relax and take in the show.
I’m flying back to the States after a wonderful few months traveling through through Taiwan, Thailand, Laos, Mongolia, and South Korea. It’s always sad at the end of a trip π° though it will be great to see family & friends again! π
And as all of us with itchy feet know, the end of one trip means it’s time to start planning another one! π€ππ
