Colima – Small state with a big heart

Colima is a tiny state on Mexico’s Pacific coast.

There’s a pretty little Pueblo Mágico called Comala, which is where I met a wonderful man who went above and beyond to help me out. It’s enough to restore my faith in humanity. 🙂

Only in #Mexico! 😎 Chef Piter -> Nice Guy Hall of Fame! 🏆 I was having car trouble in the morning, across from his restaurant El Paraíso in #Comala. 🚐😰 … … To make a long story short, he closed his restaurant 🏠, caught a bus 🚌 with me to the nearby city of #Colima, walked around to find a mechanic 🛠, arranged with them to drive us both back to Comala 🚙, then cooked me breakfast 🍳 while the mechanic checked out the issue. And when it was all done, he gave me a big hug, and wished me safe travels. 😎👨‍🍳👍 … If you are ever in Comala, you know where to eat! #aboveandbeyond #goodpeople #dk
