A sea of people
And now for something completely different
Arriving in South Korea was a bit of a shock. It’s hard to imagine a bigger change from the remote ger camps of Mongolia! π±
With a population of 10 million, the city of Seoul has almost 3 times as many people as the whole country of Mongolia, in way less than 1% of the area. π«ππ¬π«ππ¬
The hazy day photo doesn’t do it justice, but there’s a forest of high rise buildings spreading out in every direction as far as the eye can see. π
And from here you don’t see things moving, but when you’re down at street level, you realize that this is a modern megacity brimming with energy, activity, and life. π
